Jake Harris from Stone Soup Gardens in Seattle will be teaching us about growing our own mushrooms in our gardens. This class will focus on how to set up a mushroom patch in your garden to grow Wine Cap Mushrooms (Stropharia rugosoannulata). Wine Cap Mushrooms, also known as Garden Giants, are kinda like big Portabello mushrooms and they are the easiest type of mushroom we can grow here in backyards. This will be a hands on class as we create a mushroom bed together and Jake explains more about how mushrooms work.
